THIS PAGE COMPLETELY DOESN'T WORK ON A MOBILE DEVICE, SO I'M HIDING IT FROM YOU. SORRY IF YOU'RE MAD, BUT THE PAGE USES ALL THIS WEIRD STUFF TO WORK AROUND VALVE'S NON-EXISTENT WEB APIs.
POP: METHODOLOGY EXPERIMENT ONE GREENLIGHT BRIBERY SCHEME
If you upvote the game on Steam Greenlight through this page, you receive a unique Humble Bundle gift code. You can use the code to download the game on HumbleBundle.com, or you can just give the code to someone if you want. When POP:ME1 has enough votes on Greenlight, it'll be put on the Steam marketplace. Once that happens, each Humble Bundle copy will also be given a Steam Key which you can use to unlock the game on Steam.
Isn't This Game For Sale?
Yes. This is essentially 100% off in exchange for a Greenlight vote.
Won't You Lose A Ton Of $$$$ ?
My primary goal is to have people play my game, and not necesarrily make money. I believe getting this game on Steam will give more people the opportunity to experience this game and that's worth the loss in sales.
I Already Voted Yes For This On Greenlight...
Thanks for that. If you notice there's really nothing stopping you from getting a free copy by just voting yes again. Keep in mind that the game's total yes votes won't go up, so it kind of works against getting the game on Steam which is the primary goal of all this.
That Steam Login Thing Seems Shady...
That just gives me your SteamID so I can attach it to gift key in the database. I don't have access to your password or anything like that. This is Valve's preferred way of handling external logins.
How About That Yes Button?
That's just the game's Greenlight page embedded into this page and scrolled to the right place. I'm just trying to make it all as easy as possible for you.
If All You Want To Do Is Have People Play This Game, Why Even Sell It?
I'm a full-time independent developer so selling games is my primary source of income. I think some people recognize that the only way the medium of games can explore and evolve is to support developers like myself, so I give them the opportunity to do so. I mean, piracy is always an option (though a bit ridiculous with all these free copies I'm giving out).
